It is a far from harmless habit and frequently occurs nocturnally so we find people are sometimes unaware they have this habit. Bruxism is often associated with TMD, a painful disorder that affects the jaw joints (temporomandibular joints) and the facial muscles.

Snoring and sleep apnoea is a condition that deserves to be taken seriously as it can impact general health. The Dental Group Dingley can refer patients for sleep studies and provides custom oral devices.
